Visiting Artist Series at Pocomoke High School
Updated: Oct 17, 2022
In 2014, to address student need, then principal Dr. Annette Wallace launched a Writing Center to facilitate writing instruction after school. Since then, the writing center has morphed into a graphics lab, and the writing center has morphed into a visiting artist series which brings artists into the school to work one on one with student creators and teachers.
Funded by grants, the Visiting Artist Series has welcomed Pulitzer Prize finalists, and emerging artists & entrepreneurs to work one on one with student content creators. Pocomoke High School is committed to bringing local, regional, national and international creatives to campus, vis in-person events or virtual events.
